THE CHEF’S SECRET

PART I: THE ORIGIN OF A LIE

Jane was a famous chef, not only for her talent, but also for being an undercover assassin who secretly murdered a well-known gang leader. After that death, she disappeared from the underworld, living discreetly under a new identity, renting a small house in the suburbs, and cooking only for special orders. Her life began to change when one day she found a baby abandoned in a stroller in a parking lot: an undocumented child, with a large reward posted everywhere for whoever found him.

Jane didn’t take the baby to the police. She raised him, loving him like her own son. But she didn’t know that… someone was watching her.

Austin, a charming, intelligent, and seemingly harmless man, approaches Jane, posing as a client who wants to hire her as a chef at a luxury resort. Little by little, feelings develop between them. But in reality, Austin knows the baby’s identity: the son of his deceased sister, a victim of a gang war in which Jane is involved. Austin wants the baby back, but unexpectedly falls in love with Jane.

PART II: THE BLOODY EXCHANGE

When Jane receives an anonymous tip about a large reward from the gang if she returns the baby, Austin offers to accompany her, but oddly enough, he tells Jane to go directly to the auto repair shop where the exchange is taking place, while he stays in the car… to take care of the baby.

Jane feels awkward, but goes anyway. During the transaction, she realizes she’s being set up. Luckily, she quickly escapes and returns to the car. At the time, Austin was still waiting, feigning concern.

A few days later, Jane interrogated him, and Austin could no longer hide it. He confessed: the child belonged to his sister, and he wanted to protect it. Jane was angry, not because of the child, but because of the betrayal. She had risked her life, she loved him, and he had used her as a pawn.

PART III: THE “TRUSTWORTHY” FRIEND

Austin begged for help, promising to protect her and the baby. He called Tunde, his best friend from college, now a police officer. Tunde came, listened to the story, and offered to contact his “boss,” someone who could protect them from persecution.

Jane became suspicious. She asked Tunde for her phone. When he wouldn’t let her, she acted decisively: she pulled a gun hidden in her coat pocket and held it, demanding it.

She discovered that Tunde had sent a message to a group, revealing his current location and warning that “the killer chef is here,” with a photo of the baby. At that moment, Jane understood: she couldn’t trust anyone but herself.

Tunde rushed to grab the gun; Jane reacted faster and fired. The shot finished Tunde off.

PART IV: THE ESCAPE

A car horn sounded in the distance. Jane quickly picked up the baby and pulled Austin out the back door. Austin was stunned, unable to believe his best friend had just been murdered. But Jane didn’t hesitate. “If you want to live, follow me,” she said coldly.

They fled down the alley, running toward a car Jane had prepared in advance. She was a killer: every escape route was planned. On the way, Austin asked, “Where are you taking us?”

“Somewhere where no one knows who we are. I won’t let anyone take the baby,” Jane replied.

PART V: THE PRICE OF CHOICE

Three months later.

A small house on a cliff in Chile. Jane, Austin, and the baby live as a family. Jane teaches Austin to cook, he laughs more, and begins to feel he can forgive.

Austin, after all, stays not out of obligation, but out of love. She chose Jane and the baby over fame, money, and her past.

But peace doesn’t last forever.

One night, Jane receives a message through an old underground network: a group of assassins has been hired to kill her. They’ve been tracked down.

PART VI: THE END

During a surprise attack on the house, Jane fights as if it were her last. She pushes Austin and the baby out the back door, shouting, “Run! I’ll stop them.”

Austin doesn’t want to leave, but Jane locks the door from the inside.

Gunshots rang out all night.

The next morning, Chilean police discovered several bodies in the burned-out house, including that of an unidentified woman.

Austin and the child escaped. They changed their names and papers and started a new life in Norway.

Every year, Austin would cook a dish Jane had taught him, set it on the table, and tell the boy, “Your mother was the strongest woman I’ve ever known. She didn’t die a murderer. She lived and died a mother.”

CHARACTER ENDINGS:
Jane: Sacrifices herself to protect her loved one. She ends her life with redemption and love.

Austin: From a scheming man to a devoted father, he leaves his past behind to raise his son.

The boy: Grows up without knowing the whole truth, but carries within him the hearts of two heroes: the warrior mother and the savior father.
