I spent a month in the hospital, and when I returned home, I saw my belongings in boxes on the street: my daughter had kicked me out of the house, but soon something terrible happened
I donât usually write on social media, but now I need advice. How should I move on?

I am 85 years old. I spent the last month in the hospital due to health problems. I have almost no relatives left; only my only daughter takes care of me. All this time I dreamed of returning home: taking a shower, lying in my own bed, feeling the familiar scent of my walls again.
But when I came back, I saw a strange sight: all my belongings were in boxes in the yard, and there were new locks on the door.
I couldnât understand what was going on and refused to believe that my daughter had done this, until the door opened and she came outside.
â âOh, Dad, youâre back,â she said as if nothing had happened. âI packed your things.â
â âBut why? Iâm not planning to go anywhere.â
â âHow do you mean not go? Weâre going to a nursing home. The doctors said you need round-the-clock care, and I canât take care of you anymore.â
â âBut this is my home! I want to spend my last days here.â

â âNo, Dad. This is my home. And for you, there isnât much time left anyway.â
With those words, she put some cash in my hand for a taxi and slammed the door.
I stood on the street, not knowing where to go or what to do. My hands were shaking, and tears ran down my face. I was in a lot of pain and deeply hurt, but I tried to stay strong. While standing near the boxes, something completely unexpected happened Iâll tell you exactly what happened, and I hope for your advice on how to fix all this. Continuation in the first comment
At that moment, a neighbor came over â a young man, as far as I remember, a blogger. He saw my boxes, heard part of the conversation with my daughter, and immediately turned on his camera.
â âFriends, look at whatâs happening,â he said live. âAn old man was kicked out of his own house by his own family.â
â âSon, donât film this, these are our family problems.â
But he didnât pay attention to me.

The story spread online within hours. People were outraged, wrote comments, and condemned my daughter. The company she worked for fired her. Friends turned away. On the street, people pointed at her and said: âThereâs the one who kicked out her father.â
My daughter is convinced that I did this on purpose to get revenge.
And I⌠I no longer know if all of this was right.
Yes, my daughter was cruel to me. But she was my only one. And now she has no friends, no job, no future. She has lost everything because of me.
