Chuck Woolery, the iconic game show host, best known for being the original face of Wheel of Fortune, has passed away at the age of 83.
Mark Young, his longtime friend and co-host of his podcast, revealed to TMZ that he was with Chuck in Texas when Chuck began to feel unwell and went to rest. Shortly after, Chuck returned to the room, reporting difficulty breathing. Tragically, Chuck Woolery passed away before help could arrive, despite emergency services being called.

The Legendary Game Show Host
In 1975, Chuck Woolery became the original host of the hit show Wheel of Fortune. He remained in this role until 1981, when he left due to a salary dispute. This position helped establish him as one of the most famous hosts in the industry. Later, Woolery hosted other popular shows, such as Love Connection (1983–1994), where his humor and witty commentary made a lasting impact, and Scrabble (1984–1990), a televised version of the classic word game.

Chuck Woolery left an indelible mark on the history of television and entertainment, shaping the future of game show hosts and influencing generations of both audiences and hosts.
