Willis is the founder of the nonprofit Strength Through Strides and the organizer of the Denim Day March, which took place in Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She recalled watching the Jeffrey Epstein documentary four years earlier during a late-night feeding with her newborn and seeing Giuffre for the first time. That moment, she explained, became a turning point in her life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She recounted how Giuffre\u2019s family contacted her the same day with a message Giuffre had written about the protest. \u201cThey asked if they could share them with all of us,\u201d she wrote. \u201cThey told me they were proud of me. Proud of all of us.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Willis also announced that the Governor\u2019s Summer Willis Act was going to the floor for a vote. She concluded her post with these moving words, \u201cI feel her here with me. Giuffre\u2019s spokeswoman told People magazine that her family found the note among her writings at home, clarifying, \u201cIt\u2019s not a final note.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The spokeswoman also shared that Giuffre and the march\u2019s organizers did not know each other and that the event had been planned before her death. When the family learned about the march, they believed it was \u201capt\u201d to post Giuffre\u2019s encouraging words.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Willis became emotional when Giuffre\u2019s family called her during the event. \u201cEveryone just stood around the phone as we listened to Virginia\u2019s family and read us the note,\u201d she said. \u201cThey said thank you for carrying on her legacy. We were all crying.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Giuffre\u2019s death remains under investigation. Her lawyer, Karrie Louden, was among the first to arrive at the house after the discovery of her body. In an interview with The Sun Online on April 28, 2025, Louden stated, \u201cWe\u2019ve got big question marks over it. There\u2019s suicide and then there\u2019s misadventure.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe family said what the family has said but I\u2019m not going to speculate whether it was suicide or accidental,\u201d said Louden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She added that Giuffre had been hospitalized and was on medication. \u201cHas she just taken too many painkillers? Was she intentionally doing it? I just, you know\u2026 I don\u2019t even know what the cause of death was.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Louden, who had represented Giuffre since the start of the year, mentioned that Giuffre had been making future plans. \u201cShe was in a lot of pain but she was looking forward to things in the future. She wanted to renovate this house and all sorts of things like that. There were plans that she had for the future.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Louden had spoken to Giuffre in the days before her death and had scheduled a meeting with her for the same day the body was discovered. \u201cI was here this time last week and things were positive,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019m a defence lawyer, so I don\u2019t like to speculate about things. I like beyond reasonable doubt.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She said police had provided no official confirmation or details. \u201cThey didn\u2019t even confirm that she was dead. That\u2019s how little information the police have provided to me,\u201d she stated. \u201cThis has been a complete shock to all of us. If any of us had thought she\u2019s going to commit suicide, of course we would have taken more steps, put her into a clinic or got her some more help.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Louden explained that the uncertainty surrounding the case remains. \u201cThere were no suspicious circumstances, as far as we are aware,\u201d she said, \u201cbut given the recent activities, it\u2019s very likely that we will never know.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She also noted the lack of clarity from law enforcement. \u201cThe police were just very, very vague. I know that she\u2019s gone but how that happened, I don\u2019t know. I\u2019m not sure we\u2019ll ever know. I mean, sometimes the coroner might say it was suicide, the coroner might say it was misadventure, the coroner might say inconclusive.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Toxicology tests are expected to be conducted. Up to six police officers, including four from the major crimes unit, examined the scene after the alarm was raised on Friday. Authorities in Western Australia have not released any details regarding the circumstances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Louden added, \u201cI\u2019m not aware of a suicide note. I\u2019m not saying there was or wasn\u2019t a note, but I\u2019m not aware of any note. I haven\u2019t been told about one, so I can\u2019t say if there was or not. The police came in and did all their stuff, and they would have taken all the evidence.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A spokeswoman for the Perth Coroner\u2019s Court confirmed that Giuffre\u2019s death has been reported to the court. \u201cThe circumstances of Ms Giuffre\u2019s death will be investigated by the coroner. The Court will inform the senior next of kin of those investigations, which are not made public.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It could take up to two years before the coroner\u2019s report is completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Giuffre\u2019s father, Sky Roberts, also addressed his daughter\u2019s passing. Speaking to TMZ, he said that Giuffre had posted videos in the past saying that if she ever died by suicide, not to believe it, and to have authorities investigate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In one of her final public messages, Giuffre shared an emotional Instagram post on March 30, 2025. She wrote that she had gone into kidney renal failure and had been told she had four days to live.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Referring to a recent accident, she said, \u201cWhen a school bus driver comes at you driving 110km as we were slowing for a turn \u2026 it might as well be a tin can.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She continued, \u201cI\u2019m ready to go, just not until I see my babies one last time,\u201d and thanked those who had been part of her life. Giuffre ended the post by writing, \u201cGodbless you all xx Virginia.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Giuffre died at 41 on April 24, 2025, in Neergabby, Australia, where she had lived for several years. Her family confirmed the news in an exclusive statement to People on April 25, stating she died by suicide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emergency services responded to a call on Friday night and found Giuffre unresponsive. Despite attempts to save her, she was declared dead at the scene. Western Australia Police said that \u201cearly indications is the death is not suspicious, [sic]\u201d and major crime detectives are currently investigating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
