Nicole Saunders was raised by her father, Austin, when her mom left her to move abroad and she was just five. Austin reared Nicole with affection, gave her the best of everything, and never said no to any of her requests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Austin Saunders was a hotel owner with an abundance of wealth. However, nothing in his life had come easily to him. He began his career as a simple loader at a tiny motel then climbed his way to the top after years of hard labor, part-time jobs, and pursuing business studies at a community college.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, his years of workaholism caused him to devote less attention to his daughter and more to work, causing her to become entitled and arrogant. And then she did the unthinkable one day\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One day, Nicole and her friends were chilling at her father\u2019s hotel. They were partying and listening to loud music in a hotel room that soon turned into a rubbish dump, with empty beer bottles and food bowls, and chips packets littered around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nicole had summoned a maid to clean the room, but because of the music blaring inside, they didn\u2019t hear the maid who had been ringing the doorbell for quite a while. When Nicole eventually opened the door, she rolled her eyes and insulted the maid. \u201cWhat took you so long? Can\u2019t you do your job properly?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Suddenly, as she walked out of the room, she heard her father\u2019s voice over the loudspeaker. \u201cNicole! Please come to my office straight away!\u201d<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m sorry, miss,\u201d Rose, the maid, replied gently. \u201cI was waiting outside for five minutes, but you didn\u2019t hear me due to the loud music.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWoah, Woah!\u201d Nicole smirked. \u201cSlow down, woman! I can do whatever the hell I want here because this is MY hotel! So don\u2019t you dare answer me back! You know what?\u201d she said, pulling out a bell from her backpack. \u201cI was driving here when I noticed a kid selling this on the street so I bought it. I guess you\u2019ll be needing this. That way, we can easily hear you enter the room!\u201d She chuckled and placed the bell around Rose\u2019s neck while one of her friends, Ashley, filmed everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rose protested, teary-eyed, trying to take off the bell, but Nicole grabbed her hands and pulled it down her neck. \u201cDo what I say, or you\u2019ll lose your goddamn low-wage job. Do you understand?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At that point, Rose had little choice but to obey Nicole\u2019s orders. She began cleaning the entire hotel room while Nicole\u2019s friends recorded everything on their phones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately for Nicole, she had no idea their hotel room door had been ajar. Austin was passing by the room, and he overheard her berating Rose. But instead of confronting his daughter, he walked back to his office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While Rose was still cleaning the room, Nicole took out a $100 bill and tossed it on the floor. \u201cConsider this as your tip. And yeah, make sure the room is spick and span, else you\u2019ll get a salary cut,\u201d she taunted before leaving her room with her friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moments later, Nicole heard her father\u2019s voice from a loudspeaker addressing her. \u201cNicole! Come to my office straight away!\u201d he declared firmly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nicole and her friends exchanged anxious glances. \u201cAll the best, Nicole! Guess your dad finally knows we\u2019re here!\u201d one of her friends chirped as they all walked away and left her alone. She made her way to Austin\u2019s office, fearful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nicole was terrified as her father stopped her when she was about to take a seat. \u201cI never asked you to sit down!\u201d he exclaimed, furious. \u201cTell me, what are you doing here at this hour? Shouldn\u2019t you be in class now, Nicole?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nicole feigned a laugh. \u201cOh, college is on a break, dad! So I figured I could hang out with my friends here for a while? We have a month-long break!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSo you\u2019re free from studies for a whole month. Is that correct?\u201d he asked firmly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWell\u2026yeah, you could say that!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nicole was scared to tell her father the truth, so she remained silent. She began tidying the room and decided to leave as soon as possible. Ashley, on the other hand, wasn\u2019t done mocking her, and she kept saying something or the other to infuriate her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At one point, Nicole lost her calm and yelled, \u201cEnough already, Ashley! You and your dumb friends need to leave his place right now, or I\u2019ll call security!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To be honest, I didn\u2019t expect you to come to me and confess everything, but you did. And it is at this point that you should be forgiven!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
