He\u2019s the one who changed their diapers, taught them to ride bikes, attended their plays and dance recitals, helped them with their homework, and even dressed up as Santa Claus. He arrived thinking the girls were going to jump on him, but they didn\u2019t react at all. When the children finally came to greet him, they arrived with drawings they had made. He immediately started yelling, telling me that the girls didn\u2019t see him as a father because their grandfather had taken over. I wasn\u2019t about to argue again, especially in front of my father or my children, so I told him to tone it down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But it didn\u2019t work. It seemed that the sight of my father with the girls made him even angrier, and he started saying, \u201cIf you don\u2019t get him out of here, I\u2019ll do it myself and never allow him to see them again.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I couldn\u2019t understand how David thought he could manipulate the situation and threaten to remove my father from my children\u2019s lives. I want my children to have their grandfather close to them because he\u2019s so good to them. I never wanted that. I tried so hard to keep the family together to avoid this. But I failed. David and I failed our children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The girls, my dad, and I have moved out and are living with my sister while we wait for our new house.
