It was just an ordinary night. My wife and I were asleep in our bedroom, cozily tucked under the blanket. Our six-year-old son and one-year-old daughter had long been asleep in their rooms. Everything was peaceful \u2013 nothing hinted at any danger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Around three in the morning, our Labrador, Semi, suddenly rushed into the bedroom. He\u2019s been with us for eight years \u2013 a smart, affectionate dog, a true member of the family. He had never caused trouble and always knew how to behave in the house. But that night, he was different.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Semi ran to my wife\u2019s side of the bed, placed his paws on her chest, and began barking softly. His behavior immediately alarmed me.
