I was heading home after a long day at work when I noticed a familiar house\u2014my brother\u2019s. We hadn\u2019t seen each other for a long time, and since it was on my way, I thought: why not stop by, chat a bit, have a coffee like in the old days.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But as soon as I arrived at his gate, I noticed a car parked in front of his house. My heart stopped. It was my wife\u2019s car.
I didn\u2019t even check the license plate\u2014I just stood there, staring, unable to believe my eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At first I tried to convince myself it was just a coincidence: maybe she had come by to drop something off, maybe she had other business. But the longer I stood there, the faster my heart pounded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was standing in front of my brother\u2019s house and I didn\u2019t know what to think. If she had just come for something innocent, why lie about being at a friend\u2019s? Something inside me whispered: this is no coincidence. I needed to find out the truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I moved closer, trying not to make a sound. Warm light was shining through the window. I looked inside\u2014and what I saw shocked me. \"\ud83d\ude28\"\"\ud83d\ude31\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both of them jumped. My wife turned pale, my brother froze\u2014as if he had seen a ghost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We looked at each other\u2014three people bound by a lie that none of us wanted to talk about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
