I\u2019m Mark, and a few days ago, I had this wholesome experience I will never forget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, I was sitting on a busy city street, munching on my sandwich during lunch break.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Out of nowhere, this scruffy-looking guy walks up to me and hands me my wallet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHey, you dropped this,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was stunned. \u201cThanks, man! I didn\u2019t even notice. What\u2019s your name?\u201d I asked, genuinely curious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cStuart,\u201d he replied with a shy smile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m Mark,\u201d I said, shaking his hand. \u201cI\u2019m a barber. How about I repay you with a fresh haircut?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stuart looked down at his worn-out clothes and shrugged. \u201cWhy bother? I got no one to impress. Nobody cares about a bum like me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I imagined being in Stuart\u2019s shoes, and his words hit me right in the feels. I knew I had to do something more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stuart hesitated for a moment but then sat down. I draped the cape over him and got to work. \u201cYou\u2019re in for a treat,\u201d I said, picking up my clippers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As I started cutting his hair, I could see the change happening right before my eyes. The scruffy, tired look began to disappear. Stuart was getting a fresh start, and it showed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe need to find my friend Stuart here some stylish clothes,\u201d I said, patting Stuart on the back. Stuart looked around, a bit overwhelmed. \u201cI\u2019ve never been in a place like this,\u201d he whispered to me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDon\u2019t worry, we\u2019ll find something great,\u201d I assured him. The staff quickly got to work, bringing out various outfits for Stuart to try.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stuart looked at himself in the mirror, turning this way and that. \u201cI feel like I\u2019m wearing someone else\u2019s clothes,\u201d he said with a laugh. \u201cBut they do look nice.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBelieve it or not, we met last night after the date fiasco,\u201d Stuart said with a chuckle. \u201cMaria was kind enough to sit and talk with me. We\u2019ve been chatting ever since.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maria smiled at Stuart. \u201cStuart told me everything. I\u2019ve had my own struggles, so I understand where he\u2019s coming from.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
