Fabiola Solis Cisneros is not like other high school students. At eighteen, this California native also faces motherhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fabiola managed to juggle her studies and her role as a young mother with remarkable determination. She passed her final exams despite the challenges of early parenthood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By obtaining her diploma, she fulfilled the promise she made to her family when her pregnancy began. At that time, she was in the second year of high school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At 16, Fabiola discovered she was pregnant. Faced with this news, she chose to keep the baby. Despite initial fears about her parents\u2019 reaction, she found her sisters\u2019 support crucial at that time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know if you know Mexican parents\u2026 We were all very afraid of our dad,\u201d Fabiola recalls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her dad initially reacted with irritation, even threatening to kick her out of the house. However, tensions eventually eased. \u201cHe didn\u2019t want me to struggle alone and let me stay at home,\u201d she recalls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just before her child was born, she promised her father to continue her studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She graduated, making her father proud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A few months later, Fabiola gave birth to a baby boy, Xavier. The arrival of this child changed the life of the entire family. Fabiola fondly remembers her father immediately forming a strong bond with him: \u201cIt was love at first sight,\u201d she recalls.<\/p>\n\n\n

After her child was born, Fabiola worked hard to earn her diploma. She tried taking an online course but quickly realized it wasn\u2019t suitable for her. Luckily, her mom agreed to take care of the baby so she could resume her studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt took a miracle to get here. I was supported from all sides: from the father of my child to my sisters, and even some of my teachers. So, I was never alone,\u201d she explains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her grades improved, and she managed to find a part-time job, which allowed her to pursue her dreams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With courage and support from her loved ones, Fabiola eventually earned her high school diploma after facing many challenges. As for her future, she plans to attend university next semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
